Staff Accountant

About the role

As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile company accounts
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations
• Handle daily accounting tasks including invoicing and expense reporting
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting
