Position Responsibilities
- Maintain monthly bank and other various general ledger account reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Analyze financial transactions to ensure proper posting within the general ledger
- Monitor the Accounting Support Helpline, provide information, and assist clients, attorneys, and administrative assistants as necessary
Job Requirements
- Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures
- Assist with special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an accounting department is preferred
- Experience with Aderant, Elite Enterprise or other large automated accounting system a plus
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Strong analytical skills required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Must be a team player, able to work independently, and be customer service focused
- Must be able to sit for 8 hours per day at a personal computer
Pay
$55,000 - $65,000 negotiable based on years’ experience
