Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage all data entry of general ledger, cash management, account reconciliation, payroll processing, preparation of taxes (payroll, State, and federal), and processing of accounts receivable and payable
• Prepare financial data for both business and CEO’s personal accounts for our CPA firm to file tax returns
• Prepare reports financial reports such as tracking inventory, cash flow forecasting, job costing, etc.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial data
• Manage payroll and track bonus and commission plans
• Assist with office management such as ordering supplies, snacks, and team lunches
• Assist human resources with onboarding and offboarding employees

Requirements

• 3+ years in a corporate accounting/ bookkeeping
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
• Experience working with accounting software such as Timberline or Sage 100
• Experience in Construction Accounting or Job Costing
