Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Enters invoices into ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
- Schedules, Processes, and records payments to suppliers.
- Works closely with internal staff to resolve issues while observing confidentiality.
- Responsible for weekly management & reconciliation of company credit cards.
- Processes customer invoices & cash receipts.
- Performs weekly inventory reconciliations & assists with year-end physical counts.
- Affords assistance with month-end closings & account reconciliations.
- Affords assistance with bank reconciliations.
- Affords assistance with external audit requests.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Experience in a manufacturing or job-costing environment strongly preferred.
- Experience: Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, & financial reporting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis), Microsoft Office software and Windows operating system.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with fixed assets, depreciation, cost accounting concepts, & EBIDTA. Understanding of internal controls & audit processes. Familiarity with federal contractor requirements preferred.
- Personal Attributes: Ability to work with large data sets & perform detailed reconciliations. Understanding of internal controls & audit processes. Ability to thrive in a changing, fast-paced growing and dynamic business. Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
