Staff Accountant - Americas
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, recurring entries, and adjusting entries.
- Support and execute the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-controlled financial results.
- Perform account reconciliations and analyses, ensuring reconciling items are properly documented, reviewed, tracked, and cleared in a timely manner.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends and variances.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
- Audit assistance by preparing supporting documentation.
- Help maintain the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data and reporting.
- Participate in accounting and finance initiatives, including process improvements and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- CPA preferred.
- Intercompany transaction experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
- ERP User Experience: Oracle preferred.
- Ability to have a collaborative style and work with cross-functional and international teams.
- Strong GAAP knowledge, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Total Rewards
- The estimated salary range for this position is $61,000 to $80,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors.
- This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary.
- This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country.
- We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), Holidays (9 days), Personal days (3 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
