STAFF ACCOUNTANT 2
Schedule
40‑hour work week, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, bank and account reconciliations, reports, and review financial statements.
- Prepare sales tax reporting.
- Maintain payroll budgets, input and reconcile operating budgets.
- Assist in annual financial audit.
- Communicate clearly and openly; build relationships to promote a collaborative environment.
- Be accountable for performance and continuously seek ways to improve the patient experience.
- Take initiative for professional growth and contribute to a winning team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 credit hours of accounting coursework or related work experience.
- 0–2 years of accounting experience.
- Ability to type 50 words per minute.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all staff levels.
- Problem‑solving ability.
- Computer literacy (Excel and word processing); ten‑key by touch.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to schedule changes.
- Hospital accounting experience preferred (not required).
- Report writer experience helpful.
