Stable Hand

About the role

The Stable Hand contributes to the overall show quality by consistently maintaining a standard of excellence through care of a healthy, well-groomed herd of horses and a clean, well-maintained stable area.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness of stable stalls by cleaning each stall on a rotating basis as directed
• Assists with the grooming and exercising of the horses

Requirements

• Ability to work with and around horses
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
