Duties
- Feeding horses at 7am - 11:15am and 3:30pm - 5:30pm
- Mucking stalls, filling and cleaning water troughs/buckets, putting out hay
- Changing horse blankets
- Cleaning stalls, paddocks, and common areas
- Operating small farm machinery for maintenance tasks (gator, ATV, leaf blower, manure spreader)
- Using hand tools for repairs and maintenance
- Maintaining hygiene standards
- Monitoring animal behavior and reporting concerns to management
Requirements
- Experience with horses (feeding, turnout, mucking stalls, etc.)
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Basic math skills for measuring feed and medication dosages
- Familiarity with small equipment operation
- Willingness to learn about growing practices and animals
