Stabilization Interventionist

About the role

Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management. Implement Strategies and Interventions developed by CBEM's Critical Intervention Specialist (CIS). Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist. Participate in clinical trainings. Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management.
• Implement Strategies and Interventions developed by CBEM's Critical Intervention Specialist (CIS).
• Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist.
• Participate in clinical trainings.
• Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings.

Requirements

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Must have a valid California Driver’s license in good standing and insurance.
• Preferred experience working with the Developmentally Disabled population.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in psychology, counseling, social work, or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• One year of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities with challenging behaviors.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
• Experience with ABA or similar methodologies.

Pay

$29.61 + opportunities for quarterly bonuses.
