Stabilization Interventionist

About the role

Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management. Implement Strategies and Interventions developed by CBEM's Critical Intervention Specialist (CIS). Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist. Participate in clinical trainings. Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings.

Responsibilities

• Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist
• Participate in clinical trainings
• Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in psychology, counseling, social work, or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Must have one year of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities with challenging behaviors
• Must have a valid California Driver’s license in good standing and insurance
• Preferred experience working with the Developmentally Disabled population

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Applied Behavior Analysis

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
• Experience with ABA and behavioral interventions

Pay

$29.61 hourly + opportunities for quarterly bonuses

Schedule

In-person/on-site required. Hours and schedule will be determined based on client needs and departmental requirements.
