The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality nursing care to patients/clients of St George Hospital and Health Service, consistent with SESLHD and St George Hospital policies, procedures, and standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with SESLHD and St George Hospital policies, procedures, and standards.
- Coordinate patient/client care within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
- Engage proactively with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and guide others in providing service excellence.
- Apply risk management, safety, and quality principles in nursing practice.
- Utilize health information systems and basic computer skills effectively.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify key messages, issues, and concerns when communicating with others.
- Proven ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Basic computer skills and experience using health information systems.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety, and quality principles.
- Recent post-registration experience in an acute care setting.

Pay
$41.23 - $57.88 per hour plus superannuation
