SSOP Person Skilled PR05 (2nd Shift) Chick N Quick, Rogers - AR

Pay: $18.25/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, some Saturday work; 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Monitor X-Ray machines, retrieve rejected product from the rejection bin, adjust X-Ray settings, and set up new codes as needed.
• Complete data entry into a computer tracking system.
• Continuously monitor assigned production areas and equipment for potential and actual foreign material that could affect product safety.
• Perform continuous visual observations for potential sources of foreign material (e.g., plastic, wood, gaskets, belts, screws, nuts, miscellaneous material).
• Observe Team Member actions, PPE, GMPs, equipment, belts, bearings, overheads, piping, caulking, and broken parts that could lead to foreign material affecting product.
• Conduct periodic verification checks of belts, gaskets, grinders, and seal checks performed by QA and Operations personnel.
• Assist operations personnel in conducting thorough departmental belt checks, document findings/corrective actions, and notify appropriate management.
• Document all findings on associated forms or in the computerized Plant View system.

Requirements

• 6 months of continuous work history within the last 2 years.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Government identification number required for verification of previous Tyson employment history.
• This facility accepts rehires after 365 days, provided the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson.
