About the role

This position is responsible for operating a scale and bagger system, maintaining accurate counts of all materials used, and ensuring a safe work environment while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale and bagger system
• Maintain accurate weights and assist in evaluation of product to ensure weights
• Assist with clean-up and sanitation following USDA/Tyson guidelines
• Maintain and keep accurate count of all materials used
• Follow all assigned duties as directed by Supervisor
• Follow safe practices, including the use of personal protective equipment when required
• Adhere to all sanitary procedures and policies
• Lift up to 50-70 lbs. occasionally
• Understand and follow instructions given by Supervisor

Requirements

• 6 months of continuous work history within the last 2 years
• Must complete an online job application in Workday
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must provide government identification number for Tyson employment history verification
• This facility accepts rehires after 365 days, provided the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson
• Certain roles require background checks
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation

Pay

$18.25/hour + $2.00 shift differential
