About the role
Ebenezer Square, a DePaul Community Residence-Single Room Occupancy (CR-SRO) Program, is seeking a part-time Medication Coordinator 1 to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Logs in all client medications accurately, completes proper documentation, and stores them according to DePaul’s policy and NYS Office of Mental Health regulations.
- Makes copies of all prescriptions, updates client charts, and documents changes in medications or treatment records.
- Inventories medication counts to identify what needs to be ordered and ensures prescriptions are refilled as needed.
- Ensures effective systems are in place for the ordering of all medications and acts as a liaison with various stakeholders to facilitate timely and accurate medication ordering and appointment scheduling.
- Supervises all residents' medications in accordance with physician’s orders, agency policy, and NYS Office of Mental Health regulations.
- Reviews the Medications Administration Record (MAR) daily to ensure accuracy of medication supervision and reports significant issues to appropriate personnel.
- Affords assistance with the training and orientation of new staff regarding proper supervision of resident medications.
- Maintains oversight of the self-medication process for residents and ensures compliance with all relevant policies.
- Maintains a clean, organized, quiet, and welcoming environment for residents in the medication room.
- Performs any other duties necessary for the effective operation of the program and the medication room.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED and excellent organizational skills, preferably demonstrated through prior medication management experience or an advanced educational degree.
- One (1) year of experience working with medications.
- A clean NYS driving record as outlined in DePaul’s personnel policy is preferred.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid NYS driver’s license.

Sunday, Monday, and Friday, 4:30pm-11pm
