About the role
Safe Alliance is seeking a Client Care Specialist to support the agency mission by providing hope and healing to those impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and child maltreatment.
Responsibilities
- Using trauma-informed, client-centered approach: Provide intake, assessment, case management, crisis intervention, safety planning, court education, information, and referrals.
- Ensure coordinated client care with key community partners.
- Answer calls and process referrals to screen and direct callers/referred clients as appropriate.
- Greet walk-in clients and complete brief screening to provide information and direct clients as appropriate.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and comfortable reception area and victim waiting room.
- Administration: Maintain confidential and accurate, up-to-date client, stakeholder, intern, and volunteer records, program and agency records in agency databases, which may include CSN, Raiser’s Edge, Financial Edge and Paycom.
- Partners with direct care staff to maintain up-to-date electronic client files and adhere to record retention policy for physical files.
- Research, write, and manage grant reporting and grantor relationships as assigned by supervisor.
- Adhere to agency and program procedures concerning documentation, Critical Incident Reports, and Client Satisfaction Surveys, and participate in the Quality Assurance process.
- Assist SRC Manager with planning and administrative oversight of High-Risk team meetings.
- Support office functioning by handling mail and maintaining inventory of office supplies, bus passes, petty cash, and gift cards.
- Act as a liaison between TUC partners and internal Safe Alliance departments.
- Work with the SRC Manager to initiate and/or evaluate programs and processes used within the SRC and make changes as needed to ensure success for TUC.
- Work with SRC leadership to ensure the goals and outcomes for the program are met.

Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Experience
- Experience working with victims or experience in human services preferred
- Spanish speaking preferred
Physical Requirements
- Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly lift, twist, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Ability for close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus to perform an activity to determine accuracy and thoroughness of work assignment.
