About the role

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- to mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. Within WWSO, this position is part of the Worldwide Specialist Team, who will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designing Graph architectures that leverage Amazon Neptune.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain-aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
  • Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
  • Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best-in-class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
  • Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
  • Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.
  • Foster technical trusted advisor relationships with influential technical decision makers, to further the adoption of AWS services and technologies.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 7+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience
  • Knowledge of operating systems, hardware, storage, network, security, database administration and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams across geographies and business units
  • 5+ years design and implementation experience with Graph Databases such as Neo4J, TigerGraph, including Graph data modeling and Query languages
  • An understanding of computing deployment models as they relate to databases and analytics
  • Working knowledge of modern software development practices such as agile methodologies and DevOps
