Sr. Worldwide Specialist – GenAI/ML, Accelerate Compute, Data & AI GTM

About the role

The Sr. Worldwide Specialist – GenAI/ML, Accelerate Compute, Data & AI GTM will help define the future of Go to Market (GTM) at AWS using generative AI. They will be part of the core worldwide GenAI Models team, responsible for helping our customers build and deploy GenAI models to power end applications and use cases across industry verticals.

Responsibilities

• You will help develop the industry's best cloud-based solutions to grow the GenAI business.
• You will work closely with our product and field teams and partners like ISVs and 3rd party model providers, enabling new capabilities for our customers to develop and deploy GenAI workloads across Edge devices and AWS.
• This involves activities like market sizing, building an opportunity pipeline, working with customers to understand technical requirements for proof-of-concepts (POC), creating content to train the field teams, and driving thought-leadership.
• You will drive the development of the GTM plan for building and scaling GenAI on AWS, interact with customers directly to understand their business problems, and work with GenAI model providers, and our solutions architects to help them define and implement scalable GenAI solutions to solve them.
• You will also work closely with account teams and product teams to drive model implementations and develop new solutions.
• You will need to be adept at interacting, communicating, and partnering with other teams within AWS such as services teams, field solutions architecture, sales, marketing, as well as representing your team to executive management.
• You should be passionate about helping companies/partners understand best practices for operating on AWS. You will also look for patterns and trends that can be broadly applied across an industry segment or a set of customers that can help accelerate innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
• 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalent
• Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
• Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences
