About the role

The Sr Worldwide GTM Specialist - GenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Data & AI GTM role involves defining, building, and deploying targeted strategies to accelerate customer adoption of Amazon Bedrock across industry verticals. The role requires engaging with product managers to influence product direction and helping customers tap into new markets by utilizing Amazon Bedrock along with other AWS Services.

Responsibilities

  • Define go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Amazon Bedrock and lead cross-functional initiatives to expand existing markets, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities.
  • Engage with customers to understand their business problems, work with model providers and solutions architects to help them define and implement scalable GenAI solutions, and work closely with account teams and product teams to unblock and drive production implementations.
  • Drive the development of the GTM plan for building and scaling adoption of Amazon Bedrock, interact with customers directly to understand their business problems, and work with and model providers and our solutions architects to help them define and implement scalable GenAI solutions to solve them.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences, and advocate on customers' behalf by understanding their pain points, helping them navigate through technology options and adoption challenges, and conveying insights back to product teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
  • 3+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services experience
  • Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients

Qualifications

  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience building sales plays and playbooks, prospecting for, advancing and closing sales pipeline to drive adoption of products/services/capabilities in ML, AI or Analytics across a large customer base with demonstrable results delivered.
  • Experience advocating on customers behalf by understanding their pain points, helping customers navigate through technology options and adoption challenges, and conveying insights back to product teams.
  • Experience in managing multiple initiatives and campaigns simultaneously (customer engagements, sales motions, webinars, sales asset development, etc.) working across multiple functional teams (Product, Marketing, Solution Architects, Account teams).
  • Experience teaching account teams how to sell technical products and services
  • Experience managing, tracking, and communicating customer and market insights and objective business metrics and risks.

Skills

  • Business and technology background enabling engagement with customers from various segments, from startups to multinational enterprises
  • Domain expertise in Generative AI and key ML powered use cases
  • Technical depth to articulate the benefits of Amazon Bedrock, and other GenAI related services and solutions to data scientists, and C-Level executives
  • Understanding of GenAI market trends, ecosystem, opportunities, and passion for market development and evangelism
  • Adept at interacting, communicating, and partnering with teams within AWS (product, solutions architecture, sales, marketing, and professional services) and externally with customers and model providers

Pay

Base salary range for this position is listed below. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

  • USA, CA, San Francisco - 162,700.00 - 220,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Seattle - 147,900.00 - 200,100.00 USD annually
