About the role
The Senior Wealth Advisor position is the backbone of the practice at Carson Wealth. This role focuses on building and establishing new client relationships, providing advisory services, and supporting current clients at the highest level. The ideal candidate must be able to navigate complex and demanding client conversations, build a robust client base, and maintain a positive and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Understand and lead/present the Proven Process
- Master Bucketing, Investment, and Tax Strategies
- Provide exceptional active listening skills during Discovery and Clarification meetings
- Achieve proven ROI through business development activities
- Navigate hard/emotional client conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Handle the largest, most complex, and demanding clients
- Develop Crucial Conversation and Active Listening skills
- Empathize and genuinely care for clients, their families, and their circumstances
- Stay knowledgeable and effective with complex client situations
- Unrelentingly pursue what's best for the client
- Source and leverage new opportunities from existing client books
- Create and present a plan for building a COI network
- Mentor Associate Wealth Advisors, Client Service Associates, and the rest of the team
- Continuously improve and stay updated with relevant financial planning news
- Maintain all professional continuing education and training requirements
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Show proficiency and adaptability to technology, including CRM and Financial Planning software
Requirements
- 5+ years investment advisory experience
- CFP or CFA preferred
- Active Series 65 or 66 license
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, preferred
- Experience working with HNW and Ultra HNW clients
- Computer literacy and aptitude for learning new programs and processes
- Knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Knowledge of Financial Industry programs (Salesforce, Orion, eMoney, MoneyGuide), preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and prioritization skills
- Excellent attitude and extraordinary client service orientation
- Genuine interest in serving and caring for others
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivation and a desire for growth
- Ability to take direction and support all team members

- Base Salary: $125,000 - $175,000

Pay is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Schedule
The Senior Wealth Advisor position requires a majority of the time spent in the office. Some travel may be required.
