Sr Technician Warehouse

Discover a more connected career at Kanaan Communications, LLC as a Senior Warehouse Technician. You'll manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring orders are filled accurately, tracking inventory, and following safety and packaging guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with finding solutions to shortages and packaging material restocking needs.
• Inventory on-hand accuracy - weekly counts and reviews.
• Packaging and shipping products according to guidelines.
• Receiving, unloading, and inspecting shipments; confirming accuracy with packing slips and purchase orders.
• Operating dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading and unloading materials.
• Driving 16' to 20' box vans (25% of the week) for moving material amongst other locations.
• Keeping yards organized, safe, and clean.
• Aiding with fleet needs.
• Forecasting material needs daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Picking up material from local vendors.
• Communicating material needs when applicable.
• Maintaining a high level of warehouse safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• To be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• A High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• A valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record.
• To pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card.
• Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack.
• Three years of experience in warehouse or material handling.
• Knowledge of computer and inventory control systems.

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, bend, stoop, stand, lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, climb stairs, use keyboard and mouse.
• Occasionally: work in confined spaces or remote locations with arms above shoulder level, lift greater than 55 pounds, squeeze, fine hand motion, and use portable ladder.

Pay

The wage range for Sr Technician Warehouse is $18.00 - $24.00.
