In this role, you'll partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and technical leaders to identify, engage, and attract exceptional talent. You'll play a critical role in developing creative sourcing strategies, uncovering hard-to-find talent, and building long-term relationships with candidates before they're actively looking. What You'll Do Develop and execute sourcing strategies for highly technical roles across teamsBuild targeted searches that identify exceptional technical talent across multiple industries and research communitiesResearch, identify, and engage passive candidates through highly personalized outreachPartner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand technical requirements, hiring priorities, and market dynamicsTranslate complex or evolving role requirements into effective sourcing strategiesBuild and maintain long-term relationships with high-potential candidatesConduct talent mapping, competitive intelligence, and market research to inform hiring strategiesContinuously improve sourcing methodologies, tooling, and recruiting processesTrack sourcing metrics and provide market insights to recruiting leaders and hiring managersRepresent Mariana Minerals through a thoughtful and engaging candidate experienceHelp shape and strengthen Mariana Minerals' employer brand and technical talent narrativeStay current on sourcing technology, AI-assisted sourcing tools, and emerging channels to reach specialized technical talentBuild diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill and highly specialized roles Desired Qualifications 5-8+ years of experience sourcing technical talent in a high-growth startup or technology companyExpert in utilizing ATS tools (preference for Ashby)Strong expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing tools, Boolean search, Indeed, GitHub, research platforms, and other creative sourcing techniquesDemonstrated ability to identify and engage passive candidates for difficult-to-fill technical rolesExperience partnering directly with engineering leaders and hiring managersExcellent research skills with the ability to understand technical domains and evaluate technical talentStrong written communication skills with experience crafting personalized candidate outreachAbility to manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining a high quality barData-driven approach to sourcing strategy and pipeline managementStrong closing and negotiating skillsHigh ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsPassion for building exceptional teams and creating outstanding candidate experiences Nice to Have Prior experience recruiting for hardware, robotics, industrial automation, or deep tech companiesExperience sourcing for niche or emerging technical disciplines (e.g., materials science, controls engineering, applied AI/ML)Familiarity with early-stage or seed-to-Series B recruiting environmentsExperience building a sourcing function or playbook from scratch Our culture is built on four principles: Everyone Gets Home Safe.
