Key job responsibilities
- Manage cross-team and cross-organization delivery of long-term customer-facing programs
- Own end-to-end program lifecycle by writing detailed BRDs, partnering with engineering on technical specifications, and managing deployment
- Meet with internal and external customers to understand future requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders in multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver on agreed upon milestones. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs
- Plan and coordinate events including facilitation and action item management
- Lead data-driven decision making through analysis of metrics and operational data, creating KPIs to demonstrate product/program value and effectiveness
About the role
We are seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager for the AWS Data Center Physical Security team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
