This role is for a secure web-based application that processes electronic submissions of child care modalities within New York State.

Responsibilities

  • Document business rules for re-engineering the current paper process into a .NET solution.
  • Design test plans and conduct testing of the code.
  • Interact with users and development team members.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely completion consistent with the Project Plan.
  • Study the software application domain and prepare software requirements and specification documents.
  • Liaise between software users and developers to convey user demands.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
  • 84 months of experience writing technical/business specifications for .NET applications.
  • 72 months of experience writing test plans & cases and performing unit & regression testing.
  • 84 months of experience facilitating meetings with users to identify and gather business needs, business rules, and security requirements.
  • 24 months of experience re-engineering paper-based processes into web-based .NET solutions.
  • 48 months of SQL coding experience for writing data queries for extraction and/or validation of application data.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Required documents: Résumé, copy of candidate identification (e.g., Driver’s License, Green Card, Visa, Passport), and any professional certifications or degrees referenced in qualifications.

Schedule

  • 100% onsite in Albany, New York.
  • Duration: 24 months.

Client: NY State – Office of Child & Family Services (OCFS).
