Sr. Technical Account Manager, Sr. TAM

About the role

As a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will support the largest enterprises in the world to gain the best value and service from AWS. Your role involves influencing customers' innovative use of AWS services across various technology areas, including Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data, AI/ML, Networking, Serverless, and more.

Responsibilities

• Craft and execute technical cloud strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services.
• Represent AWS at customer meetings and discussions with senior leadership on topics such as operational excellence, cloud maturity, support, and risk management.
• Provide strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively maintain customers' AWS environments.
• Understand and address customers' business/operational needs and technical challenges to help them achieve maximum value from AWS.
• Travel 10% or more as needed to support customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
• Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
