Sr. Tech, Quality

Your Role

The Senior Quality Technician is primarily responsible for daily laboratory activities. This may include environmental monitoring, sterility testing, BET, processing of samples in the laminar flow hood, data and trend analysis, documentation review and other quality department functions. This is a first-shift Tuesday-Saturday position, with occasional holiday work required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Environmental monitoring of manufacturing cells.
• Sterility or BET of final product.
• Processing of in-process samples or environmental samples.
• Prepare data and trend analysis, numerically and graphically, for monthly and quarterly quality system reports.
• Will work in both Drug Delivery and Penicillin facilities as needed.

What You'll Bring

• Must have knowledge of basic science, math, healthcare terminology, and computer skills (including Microsoft Word and Excel; as well as database applications).
• Good writing and verbal communication skills are required.
• Good problem solving and teamwork skills required.
• Long periods of standing or sitting may be necessary; as well as ability to lift, carry, and reach packages (typically 5-10 pounds) on multiple shelf levels in both ambient and frozen environments.
• Must not be allergic to penicillin or cephalosporin drugs.

Education and Experience

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline such as Biology, Microbiology, or Chemistry preferred.
• 2+ years experience in regulated manufacturing required if High School is highest level of education obtained.

Pay

The estimated base salary for this position is $51,200 - $70,400 annually. Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
