Sr. Tax Consultant
Job Summary
Compeer Financial is a cooperative providing financial services to support agriculture and rural communities. This role is available in the Rochester market with a hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tax planning, tax preparation, and consulting services to individual, partnership, and corporate clients.
- Develop trusted client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand and strengthen Compeer's Tax & Accounting business.
- Collaborate with team members across Compeer to deliver exceptional client service and comprehensive financial solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification required or in progress.
- Advanced experience in tax planning and tax preparation, preferably with agricultural or business clients.
- Proven ability to work independently, build client relationships, and contribute to business growth.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated professional with experience in tax services.
- Experience in agricultural or business tax planning and preparation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
Base Pay Range: $84,400 - $127,700 USD
Schedule
Hybrid (up to 50% remote) with regular presence in the Rochester market.
Short-Term Incentive
This role is eligible for a short-term incentive opportunity of up to 20% of base salary, tied to corporate and team performance measures. Team members in this role also have the opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation beyond this amount.
