About the role

A well-established family office wealth advisory firm in Chesterfield, St. Louis, MO, is seeking a CPA with a passion for tax planning to join their team. The firm offers an exceptional opportunity to develop a tax planning practice with an established client base and to build long-term relationships from day one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, trust, estate, partnership, and business tax returns.
• Develop proactive tax planning strategies for high net worth individuals, executives, and business owners.
• Partner with Financial Advisors to integrate tax planning into comprehensive wealth management strategies.
• Advise clients on retirement planning, tax-efficient income strategies, and wealth transfer planning.
• Discuss the tax implications of investment decisions and broader financial planning concepts.
• Build lasting client relationships while growing your own book of business through referrals from the firm's existing client base.

Requirements

• CPA required.
• 5+ years of tax planning and tax preparation experience.
• Experience working with high net worth individuals, business owners, and executives.
• Strong knowledge of individual, trust, estate, partnership, and business tax returns.
• Ability to confidently discuss investment strategies, retirement planning, and wealth management concepts from a tax perspective.
