Sr. Tax Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review of the Company’s consolidated federal income tax return including: Schedule M-3 adjustments, separate entity and sub-consolidated pro forma Forms 1120, supporting schedules and disclosures.
• Coordination of info requests and follow-ups with business units.
• Responsible for preparation of quarterly and year-end federal income tax provision (ASC-740) calculations as well as assistance with State tax provision.
• Affiliate with the preparation of the Company’s consolidated and combined state tax returns including: Review and analysis of state apportionment data from business unit tax binders, maintenance of nexus study analysis book in good order to maintain registrations and withdrawals, as well as filing positions, management of state tax payments in collaboration with Treasury.
• Preparation and review of federal quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions.
• Affiliate with federal, state, and local tax audits as needed.
• Support tax planning initiatives and special projects led by the tax management team.

Essential Qualifications And Experience

• A minimum of three years of corporate tax experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting. An advanced degree and/or CPA is desirable.
• Experience with federal and state tax return preparation.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Detail oriented with excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently with limited supervision.
