This role delivers high-impact learning experiences that build the knowledge, skills, and behaviors required for business success. Based at VVHQ—our swanky Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL—this position follows a hybrid work environment with in-person Collaboration Days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

Responsibilities

  • Learning Delivery & Facilitation
    • Facilitate engaging, learner-centered instructor-led, virtual, cohort-based, and peer learning experiences.
    • Lead the end-to-end deployment of enterprise learning programs, ensuring seamless planning, coordination, communication, and execution.
    • Adapt facilitation techniques to meet learner needs while maintaining established learning objectives and facilitation standards.
    • Serve as the lead facilitator for enterprise learning initiatives and high-profile learning events.
    • Mentor and coach facilitators, providing feedback to uphold Virgin Voyages' facilitation standards and continuously elevate the learner experience.
  • Learning Design & Development
    • Design instructor-led workshops that improve business performance by defining measurable performance outcomes and applying evidence-based adult learning principles.
    • Develop experiential learning activities, facilitator guides, participant materials, and post-event strategies that reinforce behavior change.
    • Partner with Instructional Designers as the subject matter expert during the development of eLearning, videos, simulations, and blended learning experiences.
    • Support with content reviews and quality assurance audits to ensure digital learning experiences accurately reflect business processes, learning objectives, and Virgin Voyages standards.
    • Refine workshop design on an ongoing basis using learner feedback, facilitator observations, and performance data.
  • Measurement & Continuous Improvement
    • Implement and maintain learning measurement strategies that evaluate learner experience, knowledge acquisition, behavior change, and business impact.
    • Analyze learning data, participant feedback, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
    • Maintain instructor-led learning materials within assigned program areas, ensuring content remains accurate, current, and aligned with business needs.
  • All other duties assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, leadership, or talent development.
  • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end development initiatives for defined employee groups (e.g., managers, emerging leaders, or new hires).
  • Experience designing and facilitating engaging workshops for all levels from individual contributors to senior leaders.
  • Experience leveraging digital platforms through LMS and third-party platforms (like LinkedIn Learning or similar) to build structured development pathways.
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning theory, performance-based learning models, and behavior change principles, with practical application in workshop design.
  • Working knowledge of change management principles as applied to learning and development initiatives.
  • Proficiency across multiple learning modalities—instructor-led (virtual and in-person), cohort-based, and blended—with the ability to build in reinforcement beyond the initial session.
  • Ability to create psychologically safe, inclusive learning environments that maximize participation, discussion, practice, and application.
  • Ability to define and measure program impact.
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to facilitate discussions confidently across all levels of leadership, up to and including senior leaders.
  • Able to travel as needed to facilitate on ships or corporate initiatives.
