The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner plays a pivotal role in driving recruitment excellence for the skilled trades, professional, and technical talent that power Corvant's Mission Critical division. This individual combines strategic talent acquisition expertise with advanced skills in data analytics and HRIS tools to deliver high-impact recruitment solutions for data center, healthcare, and other mission-critical project environments where speed, precision, and technical fit are essential. This role partners closely with Mission Critical division leadership to proactively address workforce needs tied to project ramp-ups and schedules, develop innovative sourcing strategies for specialized mechanical, HVAC, and controls talent, and strengthen the division's overall talent pipeline.

Requirements

  • Talent Acquisition
    • Partner with Mission Critical division hiring managers to identify workforce needs and define role requirements
    • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, evaluation, and offer management
    • Anticipate and plan for workforce needs tied to mission-critical project ramp-ups, schedules, and fast-track timelines
    • Utilize advanced HRIS and ATS tools for candidate tracking, reporting, and process improvements
  • Strategic Sourcing
    • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for skilled trades, professional, and senior-level roles supporting mission-critical projects, including mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and controls/commissioning talent
    • Build talent pipelines through networking, trade schools, universities, professional organizations, and industry-specific channels, including data center and mission-critical industry networks
    • Minimize reliance on external agencies by implementing robust internal recruitment strategies
  • Candidate Assessment
    • Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews tailored to the role and organizational needs
    • Evaluate candidates against key metrics, including technical skills, certifications, cultural fit, and role-specific competencies relevant to mission-critical work
  • Data Analytics and Reporting
    • Leverage HR data to analyze hiring trends, track key metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire), and present insights to Mission Critical division leadership
    • Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements, including EEO and Affirmative Action reporting
  • Employer Branding and Networking
    • Serve as a brand ambassador at recruiting events, trade shows, industry conferences, and networking opportunities within the mission-critical and data center space
    • Enhance the candidate experience by creating a seamless and engaging hiring journey
  • Process Optimization
    • Identify and implement improvements to streamline the recruitment process, including expedited hiring workflows to support fast-moving mission-critical project timelines
    • Ensure timely communication and coordination with hiring leaders and candidates

Qualifications

  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Proven expertise in recruiting skilled trades and professional roles across a dispersed workforce
    • Experience recruiting for mission-critical, data center, or similarly fast-paced, technically demanding project environments strongly preferred
    • Advanced proficiency with HRIS and ATS platforms (e.g., Paylocity, Workday, or similar systems)
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruitment data and develop actionable insights
    • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining talent pipelines
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Familiarity with labor market trends, particularly within the construction, skilled trades, or mechanical contracting industries preferred
  • Education And Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on skilled trades and professional roles
    • Experience managing high-volume recruitment and specialized sourcing strategies
    • Background in using data analytics to inform recruiting strategies
