Sr Systems Engineer

Core Responsibilities

• Execute full lifecycle systems engineering activities including requirements management, configuration management, and architecture development
• Support risk management processes and maintain technical documentation
• Facilitate change management processes and coordinate requirements across diverse stakeholder groups
• Develop system architectures and maintain requirements traceability matrices
• Provide technical analysis and develop reports for program leadership
• Support working groups, integrated product teams, and technical review boards
• Conduct systems engineering studies and provide briefings to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• 15+ years of systems engineering experience
• 5+ years of Intelligence Community systems engineering experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly
• Demonstrated experience with systems engineering standards and methodologies
• Strong facilitation and communication skills across technical and executive audiences

Desired Qualifications

• Systems Engineering Professional Certification (INCOSE, ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP)
• DoD acquisition or operations experience
• Experience with supply chain management or facility infrastructure programs
• NRO or IC operational systems experience
• Masters Degree in technical discipline

Pay Range

VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $150,000 - $195,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
