12-month contract with a medical device client in Minneapolis, MN. Potential for extension. W2 contract; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Pay
$70.00 - $85.00/hr. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. No PTO or benefits included.
Schedule
At least 4 days a week onsite.
Responsibilities
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability, and analyses for total systems.
- Analyses performed at all levels of total system product: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.
- May act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of lower-level professionals.
- Majority of time spent delivering and overseeing projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.

Requirements
- Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- May have practical knowledge of project management.
- University Degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, or PhD with 0 years of experience.
