Responsibilities

  • Enable development of robotic solutions optimized for availability, life cycle cost, and performance
  • Provide Design for Reliability, Maintainability, and Supportability guidance to new product and solutions introduction teams
  • Develop reliability models for complex electro-mechanical systems
  • Develop RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) Models for Amazon products and systems
  • Develop Failure Modes Effects Analysis
  • Develop reliability test plans and data collection strategies
  • Assess vendor reliability data
  • Advocate for the customer during the design process on failure modes, fault diagnostics, and impacts to product supportability
  • Design tool kits, identify custom tools, and other support mechanisms for Robotic Systems
  • Develop lifecycle support strategies and mechanisms for new products
  • Ensure supportability requirements and concerns are addressed for field launch
  • Identify opportunities for improved maintenance strategies
  • Develop tools and assist with processes to expand diagnostic capabilities, improve ergonomics, and reduce troubleshooting time

Requirements

  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in hardware design and validation of components, subsystems, and systems

Qualifications

  • ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer or equivalent
  • Advanced degree in Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another applicable discipline
  • Experience in automotive, defense, or industrial product development

Pay

USA, MA, North Reading - $137,300.00 - $185,700.00 USD annually
