Quality AssuranceFull-time

Core Technical Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex, multi-system controls architectures using CODESYS and Allen Bradley (Studio 5000) platforms.
  • Develop modular, reusable PLC/IPC software following IEC 61131-3 standards with emphasis on Structured Text and object-oriented industrial programming.
  • Architect modern control system frameworks that enable scalability, maintainability, and rapid deployment across sites.
  • Design and implement OT/IT convergence solutions — integrating edge controllers, industrial networks, and cloud-based monitoring/analytics platforms.
  • Design and implement industrial fieldbus architectures including EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET.
  • Establish and maintain controls design standards/specifications, software libraries, and development guidelines.
  • Design and implement HMI/SCADA applications as well as sensor & vision system integrations.

Project Leadership

  • Manage multiple high-visibility global projects simultaneously.
  • Lead technical design reviews for control systems and simulations.
  • Cook up and coordinate with global design teams and vendors for end-to-end Project Delivery.

About The Team

This team shapes the automation strategy for last-mile delivery operations, influencing how complex mechatronic systems are designed, standardized, and scaled across a global logistics network. The team brings together simulation, controls, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines to develop state-of-the-art automated systems. Projects extend operational technology with cloud services and IT systems to develop reusable software and hardware frameworks for material handling equipment, driving the convergence of edge computing, industrial networking, and cloud connectivity. This role spans the full systems development lifecycle from architecture and design through development, testing, commissioning, and operational support across a portfolio of automation technologies deployed at global scale.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience with industrial fieldbus protocols: EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and/or PROFINET.
  • Expert-level proficiency in IEC 61131-3 programming, specifically Structured Text (mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience with CODESYS or Beckhoff along with Allen Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix and Studio 5000 Logix Designer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
  • Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with OT/IT convergence, integrating industrial control systems with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, MQTT, OPC-UA).
  • Experience with motion control (VFDs, servo drives) and familiarity with machine vision & sensor systems and their integration.
  • Experience managing and mentoring vendor resources or contract engineers for large scale global projects.
