Sr. Supply Distribution Tech. (evenings)

About the role

Barnes Jewish Hospital is seeking a Sr. Supply Distribution Technician to join our OR team! This individual will be working within the operating room picking supplies and instruments for cases.

Responsibilities

• Able to apply lean supply philosophy, performs basic analytics using Microsoft products and other tools available through supply chain management systems.
• Performs material receiving functions verifying correct items, quantities, processing receipts in the inventory management computer system, process RTVs, tagging/labeling and staging items for delivery.
• Reviews reports, collaborates with department staff to adjust par levels, coordinate opportunities for improvement, implement and maintain standardized community supply model, assist with JIT room audits.
• Processes stock/non-stock orders in the inventory management systems, coordinates with procurement to resolve order issues, RTVs, discrepancies, match exceptions, recalls and returns to vendor.
• Provides daily oversight of material functions while ensuring a safety focused environment complying with BJC, OSHA, Joint Commission standards and performs housekeeping functions in supply rooms.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: 2-5 years supervisor experience
• Preferred Requirements: Associate's Degree, Management or Logistics Experience, 5-10 years supervisor experience
