Sr. Supply Distribution Tech

About the Role

This position oversees the daily management of medical materials (supplies, equipment, and linen) for multiple departments throughout the hospital and/or network. Primary duties include supply room and warehouse cleaning and organization, department customer service, reviewing item par levels and usage with department leadership, bin optimization, material ordering, receiving and stocking, and assisting with manufacturer recall notifications and usage investigations. The role also involves training, mentoring, and developing new Supply Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Able to apply lean supply philosophy, perform basic analytics using Microsoft products and other tools available through supply chain management systems.
• Perform material receiving functions, verifying correct items and quantities, processing receipts in the inventory management computer system, handling RTVs, tagging/labeling, and staging items for delivery.
• Review reports, collaborate with department staff to adjust par levels, coordinate opportunities for improvement, implement and maintain a standardized community supply model, and assist with JIT room audits.
• Process stock/non-stock orders in inventory management systems, coordinate with procurement to resolve order issues, RTVs, discrepancies, match exceptions, recalls, and returns to vendor.
• Provide daily oversight of material functions while ensuring a safety-focused environment complying with BJC, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards, and perform housekeeping functions in supply rooms.
• Pick warehouse non-stocks for the hospital daily, break down CSC freight on North campus, assist with sending up clean linen carts, and load soiled linen carts on the trailer.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 2-5 years of relevant experience (required).
• Associate's Degree (preferred).
• 5-10 years of management or logistics experience (preferred).
• No supervisory experience required.

Schedule

Evenings, 2 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
