Sr. Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Armament Directorate (AFLCMC/EB) at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. In this role, you will serve as a key advisor to government acquisition teams, evaluating supplier performance, identifying risks, and shaping supply‑chain strategies for industry partners delivering components for major weapon systems. Your expertise will help ensure resilient, efficient, and mission‑ready supply chains in support of critical Air Force programs. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance, active Secret Clearance or Top Secret Clearance preferred.

What You'll Do

• Assess supplier capabilities, review delivery schedules, identify production risks, and recommend mitigation strategies to keep programs on time and on budget.
• Partner with program management, engineering, and contracting teams to strengthen supply‑chain visibility and resilience.

Required Qualifications

• US Citizen and MUST be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, active secret clearance or top-secret clearance preferred;
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college;
• At least 12 years of defense supply‑chain experience in a program office or equivalent industry, with strong expertise in supplier operations, production planning, and logistics for complex weapon systems;
• Knowledge of DoW acquisition processes;
• Supply‑chain lead or quality lead with procurement experience; and
• Knowledge of risk‑management practices, and industry standards, with a proven track record of working effectively with major defense contractors in high‑stakes acquisition environments.

Work Environment And Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in a secure, classified office environment where noise levels may range from low to moderate.
• Up to 10% of annual travel is required.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Expected Salary Range: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and contract‑specific factors. This range represents a good‑faith estimate for compliance with pay‑transparency laws.
