About the role
We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Solutions Analyst to partner closely with sourcing and supply chain teams to drive data quality, risk monitoring, process automation, and analytics initiatives. This role combines technical expertise with business problem-solving to develop scalable tools and insights that improve supply chain visibility and decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong Python and SQL skills, experience working with large and complex datasets, and a passion for building practical solutions that deliver business impact quickly.
Responsibilities
- Validate, cleanse, and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) data across multiple systems.
- Cross-reference supplier and component data against external sources to identify risks, inconsistencies, and data gaps.
- Develop automated data quality checks, exception reporting, and monitoring workflows.
- Perform ad hoc analyses related to component lifecycle risk, sourcing strategies, supply constraints, and supplier dependencies.
- Generate actionable insights to support sourcing and supply chain decision-making.
- Design, build, and enhance internal supply chain risk monitoring tools using Python and web-based technologies.
- Integrate external intelligence and data platforms into internal workflows and reporting solutions.
- Develop AI-assisted capabilities such as risk scoring, lifecycle classification, and early warning indicators.
- Create self-service dashboards, analytics tools, and visualizations for business stakeholders.
- Translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate tools based on stakeholder feedback.
- Leverage existing data infrastructure and systems to accelerate solution delivery.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes through AI, analytics, and workflow optimization.
- Collaborate across technical and business teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a Technical Analyst, Solutions Engineer, Data Analyst, Applied Data Science, or similar role.
- Strong Python programming skills, including data manipulation, scripting, API integration, and automation.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience querying large datasets and developing complex joins and data models.
- Experience working with APIs and external data sources.
- Ability to rapidly develop internal applications, dashboards, reporting tools, and automation solutions.
- Experience working with complex, incomplete, or inconsistent datasets and reconciling information across multiple systems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, hardware operations, or sourcing environments.
- Knowledge of electronic component data, including BOMs, MPNs, AVL management, and product lifecycle concepts.
- Experience with component intelligence platforms and supply chain data sources.
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, large language models (LLMs), classification models, or AI-assisted workflow automation.
- Experience with modern web application frameworks such as Flask, Streamlit, or React.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale data environments and analytics platforms.
