Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the structural design of large-scale commercial building projects, including office, healthcare, sports, and mixed-use developments.
- Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and other structural systems in accordance with applicable codes and industry standards.
- Develop construction documents and structural models using Revit, BIM, and other advanced design technologies.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams throughout all phases of project delivery.
- Manage project tasks, schedules, budgets, and client expectations while ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Participate in client meetings and help build long-term relationships through exceptional service and technical expertise.
- Contribute to innovative, practical, and efficient design solutions that balance performance, constructability, and value.
- Support projects across the United States and, when applicable, international markets.
Requirements
- 6–11 years of structural engineering experience focused on building design.
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Strong background in structural analysis and design of building structures.
- Proficiency with Revit and experience working within BIM-enabled project environments.
- Demonstrated project management experience and progressive career advancement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- Experience serving as a project engineer or project manager on complex building projects.
- EIT certification prior to obtaining PE licensure.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams.
- Familiarity with building enclosure, parking, transportation, infrastructure, or related design disciplines.
- Passion for innovative structural solutions, emerging technologies, and continuous professional development.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
