About the role
Lead a team of engineers in designing sustainable infrastructure solutions. Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable design strategies that meet client needs while minimizing environmental impact.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability into project planning and execution.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control processes.
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to keep clients informed and address concerns.
- Evaluate project impacts on local ecosystems and communities, and develop mitigation plans.
- Prepare and present project proposals and reports to clients and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in sustainable engineering.
- Proficiency in sustainability assessment tools and software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and practices.
- Experience with green building certification systems (LEED, BREEAM).
- Leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Passionate about promoting sustainable development and environmental stewardship.
