Sr Structural Engineer PE - Municipal/Industrial Water/ Waste Water

About the role

Lead a team of engineers in designing sustainable infrastructure solutions. Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainable design strategies that meet client needs while minimizing environmental impact.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability into project planning and execution.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control processes.
• Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to keep clients informed and address concerns.
• Evaluate project impacts on local ecosystems and communities, and develop mitigation plans.
• Prepare and present project proposals and reports to clients and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in sustainable engineering.
• Proficiency in sustainability assessment tools and software.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and practices.
• Experience with green building certification systems (LEED, BREEAM).
• Leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
