Sr. Strategic Sourcing & Contract Manufacturing Manager, Fulfillment Technologies and Robotics

About the role

The Strategic Sourcing & Contract Manufacturing Manager owns the relationship for Fulfillment Technologies and Robotics (FTR) with Contract Manufacturing & Supply Chain Services suppliers. The portfolio includes a diverse set of global and regional suppliers—contract manufacturers, original design manufacturers, and integrators—providing services such as manufacturing, integration, assembly and kitting, procurement, inventory management, forward and reverse logistics, and design of products ranging from custom electronic assemblies to large integrated systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing management of one or more suppliers in alignment with the overarching supply chain strategy.
• Create and sustain a competitive sourcing environment that drives continuous improvement in engineering and logistics services, delivery, cost, quality, inventory management, capacity/flexibility, business and contract management, and social responsibility.
• Lead commercial and contractual aspects of supplier relationships and mobilize multifunctional teams around supplier involvement.
• Drive supplier performance management and conduct cross-functional recurring business reviews.
• Engage with Product Development, Engineering, Internal Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Finance, Tech Deployment, Worldwide Operations, and other Supply Chain functions (Procurement, Sourcing, Logistics) across product lines to meet program objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering and program teams—especially during new product introduction (NPI)—to scale global deployment while ensuring sourcing strategies align with technical capabilities, cost, schedule, and business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, supplier management, and strategic sourcing
• 5+ years working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams and in project management
• Expertise in RFQs, supplier selection, risk mitigation, and contract negotiation
• Skilled in global supplier cost, risk, and lead time reduction strategies
• Data-driven approach to program execution and continuous improvement
• Experience in process standardization and developing business strategies across teams
• Strong leadership in NPI programs and supplier management

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial or Operations Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous environments while prioritizing and managing multiple stakeholders, responsibilities, and delivering first-of-their-kind programs on aggressive schedules
• Highly effective oral and written communication skills
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Tableau analytics, and ERP/PLM systems

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location and includes base salary, sign-on payments, and restricted stock units (RSUs).
