Key job responsibilities
- Supplier Management & Performance: Navigate complex dynamics between FTR and suppliers, ensuring top performance while fostering collaborative, long-term relationships that benefit both organizations.
- Technical Expertise: Understand supplier capabilities, Fulfillment and Robotics technologies, manufacturing, assembly, and integration methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Negotiation Skills: Lead all commercial negotiations with suppliers, secure competitive contracts and favorable terms, and know when to address issues or drive changes.
- Contract Management: Ensure suppliers adhere to contracts, renegotiate for better terms, and safeguard Amazon’s bottom line in terms of IP, indemnity, and confidentiality.
- Financial Management: Manage business relationships, contracts, pricing, and claims while maintaining effective negotiation strategies.
- Relationship Building: Engage and influence both suppliers and FTR stakeholders at various organizational levels, often under pressure, to ensure strong business cases and maintain a high executive presence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Cameras and Sensors
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, supplier management, and strategic sourcing
- 5+ years working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams, and in project management
- Expertise in RFQs, supplier selection, risk mitigation, and contract negotiation
- Data-driven approach to program execution and continuous improvement
- Experienced in process standardization and developing business strategies across teams
- Strong leadership in NPI programs and supplier management
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial or Operations Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to work in an ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple stakeholders, responsibilities, and delivering multiple first-of-their-kind programs with aggressive schedules
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office tools, Tableau analytics, and ERP/PLM Systems
