Sr. Strategic Sourcing Analyst, Electrical/Electronics

About the Role

A global industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst to support enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives focused on electrical and electronic components. This role offers the opportunity to influence sourcing strategy across multiple business units, partner with engineering and operations leaders, and drive meaningful cost savings through data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for electronic and electromechanical commodities.
• Analyze spend, supplier, and market data to identify cost-saving opportunities and supply chain risks.
• Lead RFQ processes and evaluate supplier quotations to support sourcing decisions.
• Support supplier segmentation, supplier consolidation, and strategic supplier management activities.
• Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams on new product development and value engineering initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, lead times, shortages, and supplier performance.
• Utilize Excel and other analytical tools to transform complex datasets into actionable sourcing strategies.
• Support contract negotiations and long-term supplier agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, engineering, or operations.
• Experience with one or more of the following categories:
  • Electronic Components
  • PCBAs
  • Wire Harnesses
  • Cables
  • Electrical Components
  • Electromechanical Components
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience with Power BI, VAVE, or Design for Manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong analytical, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

$90,000 - $95,000 Base Salary
