About the role

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team at Innomotics, the industry-leading supplier of motors and large drive systems. This role will lead Strategic Procurement activities for our New Kensington Drive facility, driving the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for assigned drive component commodities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned drive component commodities to support cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity objectives.
  • Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) improvements using cost modeling, market intelligence, e-sourcing tools, and supplier negotiations.
  • Lead supplier selection, qualification, performance management, and development activities.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements to achieve cost savings and mitigate supply risk.
  • Identify and implement alternative sourcing solutions to optimize lead times, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Global Procurement teams to support new product development, cost/value engineering, and sourcing initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to source, qualify, and ramp up new suppliers in support of business growth and operational objectives.
  • Maintain SAP sourcing data and utilize reporting, forecasting, Power BI, and analytics tools to drive data-based procurement decisions and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of strategic sourcing, commodity management, or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success developing and implementing sourcing strategies using a TCO model, including Cost Modeling, Market Intelligence, and E-sourcing tools.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating multi-million-dollar supplier agreements.
  • Experience managing international suppliers and supporting global sourcing initiatives.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience sourcing drive components, electrical components, or other engineered products in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • SAP experience.
  • Experience with Power BI and AI-enabled procurement tools.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $97,500 - $167,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
