About the role

Cohere Health is seeking a Strategic Finance Partner to support its growth and margin expansion. This role involves embedding within various operating groups and business units to improve profitability and scalability, focusing on enhancing contribution margins across all service lines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong business relationships with Cohere’s operations, portfolio, clinical, and customer experience teams to understand their goals and processes.
  • Ideate, initiate, track, and monitor operational initiatives, milestones, and ongoing work plans aimed at improving contribution margins and unit economic targets.
  • Lead financial budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting for all groups under your purview.
  • Bring a challenger leadership mindset to current processes to identify and implement constructive solutions for optimizing efficiency and cost structures.
  • Ensure each organization stays within their expense and headcount budgets.
  • Support business case initiatives and present financials and metrics to leadership for investment considerations.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Finance team on strategic projects and serve as the financial expert in your domain areas.
  • Manage 1-2 India-based financial analysts to enhance the speed of deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience leveraging systems, processes, and AI to increase speed to delivery
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and leading with a challenger mentality
  • 10+ years of financial experience, preferably in profitability enhancement initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience working with senior and C-level leadership
  • Passion for building relationships with key stakeholders and prioritizing their needs
  • Excellent project management and communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Operational-minded financial leader capable of problem-solving across various stakeholders
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, including with clinical and technical teams
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $134,000 to $175,000 annually.
