Sr Staff Technical Product Manager
About the role
This product manager position for Project & Engineering Solutions IT leader who will work in lock-step with domain and business PES leaders for owning the Conversion, Modification, and Upgrades delivery of programs. Accountable for planning, forecasting, and working across matrixed teams for the end-to-end lifecycle of features and/or projects. You will direct the team with a clear and descriptive set of requirements and deliver product features and functions by balancing customer need with business strategy, minimized defects, and technical debt.
Responsibilities
- Work with site PES Leaders to simplify standard work for the team.
- Develop/deploy tools and redefine/streamline processes used by PES members to save time and costs.
- Be point of contact for PES and extended global services team with other IT teams.
- Work with other teams to communicate road maps, outage plans, pain points, etc.
- Positively impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives.
- High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.
- Provides ongoing process, feature and solution guidance, input, and direction to product and platform teams.
- Collaborates with all levels of the business to align IT objectives to Global Service KPI’s.
- Lead global projects that impact multiple teams and be the voice of PES personas with regards to large programs that impact multiple personas.
- Communicate global IT initiatives to business leaders.
- Drive technology discussion and strategy in line with business needs and company reference architecture.
- Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in defining and specifying requirements using lean principles & practices.
- Organize project teams comprising from internal and external technical and functional experts.
- Manage program execution of multiple interdependent projects by working directly with global technical teams.
- Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies.
- Manage program risks, scope changes and other non-standard events.
- Adapt Product roadmap based on continuous feedback and kaizen outcomes.
- Responsible for coordinating multiple interdependent requests and delivery of features.
- Development of IT strategy and roadmap.
- Financial pacing.
- Lead critical initiatives for the business.
- Collaboration and deep partnership across Global Services IT and matrixed teams.
- Identify deficiencies in critical processes –replace with contemporary solutions (AI, ML, other technologies).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT.

- Strong global team player with experience leading and motivating teams in a formal software development lifecycle (SDLC) environment following an iterative software implementation methodology (Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe))).
- Continuously measures deliverables of self and team against commitments, achieving high percentage actual completion to plan (>85%).
- Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and balance value propositions from competing stakeholders - effectively balancing multiple, different and/or competing objectives.
- Expert proficiency in tools supporting the SDLC such as ADO, SmartSheet, PM Tools, etc.
- Identifies risks and misalignments with goals, objectives and work direction against the organizational strategy and mitigates risks/issues to course correct or escalates appropriately.
- Understanding of issues and alignment to business outcomes and priorities/key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Understanding of industry challenges, business processes and user pain points.
- Demonstrates awareness of the competitive environment and impact on the product.
- Demonstrates knowledge of technologies in the market to actively participate in buy vs build recommendations, drive market timing decisions and scope of MVPs.
- Delivers while mentoring and helping junior team members.

Pay
The pay range for this position is between $118,600.00 and $197,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
