Sr. Staff Engineer (Fullstack/Frontend)

About the role

This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will partner with operational leaders and project stakeholders to standardize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and improve execution quality. The position offers the opportunity to create measurable efficiency gains and scalable operational improvements within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $130,000 – $180,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architectural vision for frontend systems
• Ensure high-quality, fast, and accessible user experiences
• Establish frameworks for quality and operational excellence
• Collaborate on product direction to align architecture with goals
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning
• Lead cross-team initiatives, managing risks and stakeholders
• Translate customer insights into scalable technical solutions
• Design systems to support sustainable growth and reliability

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership
• Expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, GraphQL)
• Full-stack proficiency in backend technologies (Node.js and Python)
• Strong background in UI performance, accessibility, and responsive design
• Experience in scaling shared frontend infrastructure or design systems
• Ability to align technical strategies across multiple teams
• Proven track record in enhancing developer experience and system sustainability
• Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder influence
