About the role
We are seeking a Senior Treasury Technology Specialist to develop and apply quantitative insights that illuminate balance-sheet behavior under stress, supporting critical decision-making across Treasury, Risk, and Finance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement liquidity analytics and modeling logic to support stress testing, forecasting, and balance-sheet management.
- Analyze deposit, funding, and asset behaviors under various stress scenarios, including runoff, attrition, and contingency assumptions.
- Translate business requirements and regulatory expectations into clear modeling approaches and calculation logic.
- Partner with senior stakeholders and engineering teams to design and implement scalable liquidity-modeling frameworks, emphasizing the conversion of business logic and financial behavior into analytical solutions.
- Work with engineering teams to implement models and data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and transparency.
- Communicate insights and model outputs to stakeholders, providing clear and actionable narratives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- 3+ years in quantitative, analytics, or risk-related roles within a financial institution.
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data analysis and model prototyping.
- Experience with SQL and large, complex datasets.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate ambiguous requirements into clear analytical approaches.
- Exposure to liquidity stress testing or regulatory liquidity frameworks.
- Familiarity with cash-flow modeling, behavioral assumptions, and scenario design.
- Experience working with or alongside engineering teams in building analytical platforms.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, explaining complex concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Exposure to model validation, audit, or regulatory environments.
- Experience with Quant transformation.
- Experience building or working with AI/LLM-based applications (e.g., agent-based workflows, prompt engineering, or automation tools) is a strong plus.
Pay
Compensation is over $80 per hour.
