Sr Solutions Engineer

What you’ll do

• Articulate the F5 product strategy, messaging, and positioning
• F5’s value proposition to address customer business objectives
• Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, solution demonstrations, and proof of concepts by various mediums, including in-person/virtual presentations, whiteboards, and more
• Mentor and educate sales teams on the value of F5 solutions and how they align with business drivers
• Determine the viability of opportunities and map out organizational structures within customer accounts
• Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager by identifying the Technical Decision Maker to secure their validation, support, and sponsorship
• Consistently deliver world-class customer service across the entire customer lifecycle
• Work collaboratively with internal technical and sales teams by sharing best practices, updates, and expertise as opportunities arise

Technical Qualifications And Skills

• F5 Product Knowledge – Strong proficiency with F5 solutions, with a preference for hands-on experience with BIG-IP
• Security Expertise – Knowledge of securing mobility interfaces, DNS security, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and general Layer 4 to Layer 7 awareness
• Kubernetes and Cloud-Native Technologies – Basic understanding preferred, including familiarity with containers and orchestration platforms
• AI Security with a focus on Guardrails and Red Team
• L2/L3 Networking Expertise – Understanding of L2/L3 networking, particularly BGP and MPLS
• Service Provider Networking Environments – Experience in service provider environments is advantageous

Pay Range

The annual base pay for this position is: $144,000.00 - $216,000.00
