Sr. Solutions Architect, Product Acceleration, WWPS

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect to join the AWS Product Acceleration program. This role focuses on helping AWS customers bring their new ideas to market using modern cloud-native architectures and AI-powered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to AWS customers
• Collaborate with a world-class sales and business development team
• Create architectural proposals and deep dives
• Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) solutions
• Blogging and driving adoption of AI-driven software product development processes
• Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solution architect community

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization

Qualifications

• Hands-on, in-the-weeds experience designing and developing software solutions that leverage AI and GenAI capabilities
• Strong public speaking and writing skills
• Technical presentation experience – White board, small and large group presentations
• Technical – Cloud-hosted software development/deployment experience, cloud computing, AI/ML implementation, and GenAI solutions
• Operational – Cloud-hosted software operations, management, security, and AI governance

Skills

• Intellectual curiosity to stay current with industry trends, particularly in AI and machine learning
• Leadership and consultative skills to launch projects successfully
• Ability to travel 30%

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

• USA, NY, New York - $169,000.00 - $228,600.00 USD annually
• USA, TX, Austin - $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
• USA, VA, Arlington - $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
